FAQs
FAQs
Does the balance beam contain liquid?
No. The beam has a solid body with raised surface detail. It offers a longer stepping surface than the round and square liquid stones, with its own LED light response.
What makes the lights respond?
Pressure from pressing or stepping triggers a response in the lighting. It gives your child something visible to notice as they explore the beam with adult support.
How many beams are included?
This product includes one LED balance beam. Use it as a single movement piece or add it to an existing arrangement of Lucy stepping stones.
How large is the beam?
Its widest base is approximately 70 × 11 cm, the top approximately 66.5 × 8 cm and the height approximately 7 cm. Consider its length and the clear space around the route before choosing its position.
Can I add it to a sensory trail?
Yes. Place it alongside round and square stones to introduce a longer section to move along. Start with a straightforward route and adapt the arrangement to your child and available space.
What should I check before my child uses it?
Position it on level, stable ground and supervise children during use. Inspect the surface and casing before play, and stop using the beam if either is damaged.
